Maja Hodošček je diplomirala na Pedagoški fakulteti v Mariboru in magistrirala na Dutch Art Institutu v Arnhemu na Nizozemskem. Uporablja medij videa in instalacije. V svojem delu raziskuje različne koncepte znanja, procese učenja in socialne odnose, s posebnim poudarkom na ustvarjanju situacij v katerih se oblikujejo začasne skupnosti. Svoje delo je predstavila na več samostojnih in na skupinskih razstavah. Leta 2010 je prejela Nagrado skupine OHO. Kot kustosinja je zaposlena v Centru sodobnih umetnosti Celje.
