MOREBrave Feminist documents a feminist protest through Ljubljana’s city streets in 2014, confronting sexism at sites of institutional power. With handheld visuals, live street sound, and the powerful voices of the protesters and the feminist choir Z’borke, the film blurs the line between observation and participation. It is not just a record of protest, but a collective, audiovisual act of resistance.
Filmed with a handheld camera and direct street sound, the film preserves the authenticity of the moment as the camera follows the participants who occupy public space with their banners and bodies. The opening question addressed to passing men – "Why do we still have to protest against sexism?" – establishes a contrast between the experience of inequality and social norms.
