Peaceful and slow action in the garden, which we see at the beginning of the film is replaced by first melancholic and then hysteric scenes inside an apartment. The video thus deals with the distress of a modern human being.

Cut out scenes from the film are with the usage of green screen applied to a background constructed from archive shots covered with different filters in editing. With this procedure the galactic content of the film is transmitted into the real world and a metaphor about the three doors on which Barbarella is based on gets a more realistic context.
