Presentation of the exhibition by Marko Požlep in the Ravne Gallery with documentation of the performance Otok, which he performed in 2016 at Napoleon's Dock in Antwerp, Belgium. The island is a wooden structure floating on blue plastic barrels; cottage, just big enough to stay. The artist spent five days (working week) on the Island, in the middle of Napoleon's Dock, and did not leave it during that time, nor did anyone have access to the Island. It was connected to the mainland only via a VHF radio station and only three times a day. The exhibition featured drawings and a book with photographs and diary entries made during his stay on the Island. The central part of the installation was occupied by a life-size model of the abortion on which the artist lived. Present was also a sound from the VHF station, through which the artist was connected to the mainland all five days of voluntary solitude. (Source: Jernej Kožar, www.glu-sg.si)
