The film explores ethics and aesthetics of pleasure.
Short film Naporno/Hard is an attempt to challenge status quo of normative heterosexual pornography. Filmmakers take us on a journey through images that were made to give viewers pleasure: from “naive” erotic found footage to close-ups of porn actresses and queer fetishist images. What do people on both sides of the screen feel? As feminists we ask ourselves about the responsibility that we as viewers, consumers and producers of erotic and pornographic images have towards women* involved in the production of pornography. How pornographic representations produce sexual identities and what can be a subversive alternative to them?
Naporno/Hard is a collaborative project by Sasha Ihnatovich (Belarus/Slovenia) and Jasmina Mustafić (Slovenia). Sasha Ihnatovich is a cultural worker, feminist filmmaker, scholar and visual culture researcher from Belarus, currently living and working in Slovenia. Jasmina Mustafić is a documentary filmmaker and social activist based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. (Source: Luksuz produkcija)
