In a communal kitchen within a squatted former military base in Ljubljana, Slovenia, a group of anarchist activists gathers to cook, eat, and reflect. Through their involvement in the international Food Not Bombs movement, urban gardening, and shared solidarity meals, they enact a radical rejection of the global food industry’s monopolistic control and the state’s regulation of food production and distribution. Food Anarchy explores the political dimensions of everyday practices — where food becomes a site of resistance, solidarity, and survival.
