As part of the festival of experimental audiovisual practices V-F-X Ljubljana 2026, a workshop titled From Shot to Sequence, focused on exploring and experimenting with analog film, was led by the artist Neža Knez. The workshop took place in the facilities of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, the Photography Programme. The shot and developed experiments on 16mm film were scanned and edited in a digital environment. During the festival (12–17 May, 2026), the silent film loops were exhibited on an installation of archival cathode-ray tube monitors in the café of the Slovenian Cinematheque. Shorter versions of the resulting films (37 second trailers) with a common soundtrack (an original composition by musician and Slovenian Cinematheque collaborator Tine Mulej Vrabič – Nitz) were screened as an introduction to the festival programmes in the Silvan Furlan Hall at the Slovenian Cinematheque.
