A graduate of the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana (1984). During the early 1980s, she was a leading member of the multimedia and theatre group FV 112/15 and the Disko FV, as well as the co-founder of the video production FV Video and FV Label publishing house. In the mid-1980s she was one of the initiators of the first independent television in Yugoslavia/Slovenia entitled ATV. Between 1983 and 1989, she was a member of the notorious multimedia group Borghesia. In cooperation with Neven Korda, she was the author of several video films, music, and dance videos (under the name ZANK). From 2011, she has been a TV editor and a journalist, directing also her own documentary films and TV shows on art and culture on public television RTV Slovenia.
