Uršula Berlot - Liquid Solidity (05:06)
Production: Uršula Berlot, 2017
The round-shaped form in the process of constant transformation is based on the idea of simulating life at the molecular level. The structure which periodically resembles a virus structure, complex proteins or carbon fullerenes, is being decomposed, transformed and re-shaped in a string of regulatory processes. The fusion of elements according to the rule of shape and anti-shape (the key–lock principle), chain formation, deformation with multiplied symmetry, or a simulation of the Brownian motion crea...

Uršula Berlot - Fluid Topography (06:33)
Production: Uršula Berlot, 2014
The recording of dynamic forms of magnetic fluids that are produced by invisible magnetic fields directs the experience of the material in relation to the immaterial. The ferrofluid structures, which are in reality only a few centimeters in height, being transposed into a digital environment operate as macro-scale phenomena that simulate characteristics of the organic, the animate. Fluid topography acts to simulate a natural living organism or process, which by revealing the sphere of unseen magnetic physic...

Uršula Berlot - Bodyscope (02:52)
Production: Uršula Berlot, 2012
The repeated kaleidoscopic video was created on the basis of X-ray image of a spine and projected back over the original radiological image printed on aluminum support. Such projection creates layering, a kind of spatial superposition into a repetitive hypnotic pattern. The image in motion is periodically decomposed and reassembled into a coherent original image. (Source: Uršula Berlot)video projection (2,50′), print on aluminumdim: 150 x 200 cmsound: Scanner – Robin Rimbaud

Lealudvik - Teufelskreis (02:25)
Production: Lealudvik, 2018
The video is an endless loop presenting a top-down view of an empty white surface, on which the naked protagonist crawls with obvious difficulty. Just before she disappears at the other end of the frame, a new instance appears, crawling to the other side with difficulty again. The overlap of the frames illustrates a vicious circle (Teufelskreis) from which there is no way out. (Source: DIVA Station) The video installation was part of the exhibition Lealudvik: As it is, so be it at Škuc Gallery in 2020.

Prostorska instalacija s projekcijo ustvari volumetrično nematerialno svetlobno telo v gibanju. Sodelovanje: prof. dr. Blaž Koritnik, Klinični inštitut za radiologijo, U...

Uršula Berlot - Introspection (01:52)
Subtitle: Kaleidoscopic Gaze, Spiral Floating, Butterfly
Production: Uršula Berlot, 2010
Video installation Introspection composed of three video installations/projections and sound. The installations Kaleidoscopic Gaze and Spiral Floating are based on digitally- processed radiological images of my brain activity while contemplating Duchamp’s Anemic Cinema, which was conceived as an optic dispositive inducing a four-dimensional spatial-temporal perceptive experience in the viewer (by alternating the concave and convex effects of spiral swirling). The kaleidoscopic pattern of the video ai...

Urška Aplinc - Slide (01:52)
Production: U.A., 2014

The video is part of the project entitled From 1.5 to COLLI 6.66’ created at the art residency between Izola and Bologna during the coronavirus epidemic. It was presented at the international exhibition Walking through identity in Bologna. The video is an edited recording of a four-hour performance in which the artist with a 'limited' body goes on a pilgrimage route. The author attaches wooden sticks to her body with duct tape, which prevents her from walking. She can move only on her knees leaning on...

Production: Svetlobna gverila/Forum Ljubljana, 2020
Quintessence is an audio-visual performance that combines the intermedia practice of Boštjan Čadež and the performative body of Tatiana Kocmur. The performer's body is covered with LED lights that respond to her movement. The movement of the body with the help of sensors generates image and sound. A series of movements make up an animated image supported by a video projection. Quintessence discusses possible ways to embody in a world of technological progress. It offers reflections on modern...
