Keywords

Key words are used to reference video works, events and resources. This has enabled us to expand the number of search words and to update the categorisation of works with more content-related descriptions. Key words are also used to include categorised associations, which are used to presents motifs and themes appearing in individual video works and other materials more accurately. The selection of key works was in cooperation with numerous similar international organisation. The selection includes video art-specific concepts and more general terms applied to social, cultural, natural and other phenomena. Each video work is equipped with several terms which define it. The number beside the key word does not always correspond to the number of hits on the search engine, as it marks the number of works available in the physical archives, not in the web edition of DIVA Station. All works are available in the media library.
