Jatun Risba - Getting Gold (11:07)
Production: Jatun Risba & Franco G. Livera, 2019
Getting Gold is a vanitas video that questions the impact of value systems on ideas of authorship and art-making. The video performance between Jatun Risba, Franco G. Livera and Daniele Semeraro is a meditation on the fugacity of existence in all its forms. Bodies are growing (g)old, human behaviors are becoming outdated, wild species are getting extinct and technologies obsolete. Amidst the impermanence of life, what is worth doing? (Source: author)

Production: SCCA-Ljubljana, Galerija Alkatraz, Festival Mesto žensk, 2021

The impossible task is reminiscent of the inability to create safe life and home, which constantly elude refugees and migrants, as well as precarious workers of all ages, including cultural workers. At the end...
